Job Summary: 

Do you have a knack for building relationships and a passion for supporting educational initiatives? We are seeking a friendly and motivated individual to join our team as a Sponsorship Manager at the LFA Parent-Teacher Association (PTA). As the Sponsorship Manager, you will play a crucial role in securing sponsorships from local companies to support our PTA events and enhance the educational experience of our students.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify potential local businesses and organisations that align with the values and goals of our PTA.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with prospective sponsors, communicating the benefits and opportunities associated with supporting our school community.
  • Develop sponsorship packages and proposals that clearly outline the benefits and promotional opportunities available to sponsors.
  • Collaborate with the PTA to identify specific events or initiatives in need of sponsorship and determine sponsorship goals.
  • Present sponsorship opportunities to local businesses, explaining how their support can positively impact our students and the community.
  • Negotiate sponsorship agreements and contracts, ensuring that both the PTA and sponsors’ interests are mutually beneficial.
  • Coordinate with the PTA and event committees to fulfil sponsorship benefits, such as logo placement, recognition, and promotional activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sponsorships, including contact information, agreements, and follow-up communications.
  • Express gratitude and maintain ongoing relationships with sponsors by providing regular updates, recognizing their contributions, and offering future partnership opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and effectively convey the value of sponsorships to local businesses.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities to manage multiple sponsorship opportunities and follow-ups.
  • Resourcefulness and creativity in identifying potential sponsors and developing appealing sponsorship packages.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanour to foster positive relationships with sponsors, PTA members, and the wider school community.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in seeking out sponsorship opportunities and pursuing potential leads.
  • Previous experience in sales, marketing, fundraising, or event planning is desirable but not required.
  • Passion for supporting education and a dedication to the growth and well-being of children.
