From one-off donations to monthly giving, from supporting our range of fundraising projects to attending our events, every donation is appreciated and counts!
The money PTA raised is used solely for the benefit of children attending La Fontaine Academy. Donations fund a range of resources for our children to use throughout the school year.
Past Funding Highlights
Our PTA has funded some fantastic resources for our school.
During school year 2021-22 we have funded equipment for Early Years, a wide range of reading books, mastery maths tools and sports equipment.
Monthly giving
Using the GoCardless platform, this scheme allows you to make a monthly donation to the PTA via direct debit for an amount of your choice. Be sure to register as Gift Aid eligible via the instructions on our website. It takes less than a minute to sign up!

Alternatively, many employers offer monthly payroll giving schemes such as CAF Give As You Earn. This is another way to give a monthly amount of your choice straight to the PTA. Donations have the added benefit of being taking straight from your pre-tax salary.

Donate as you shop
You can donate as you shop online via Easyfundraising. Sign up to easyfundraising.org.uk, with La Fontaine Academy as your chosen cause, and every time you shop online, the online retailer will give you a cash reward that is automatically donated to the PTA.
Labels from Stikins.co.uk! As we all know, lost property is a problem in all schools which is why we think these labels are such a great idea; they simply stick onto the wash-care label of clothing. They can even be used in shoes! Naming of clothing is a school requirement and we are hoping that with this opportunity we can start to eliminate some of parents’ frustrations that surround these issues.

Matched Giving
Many companies offer a “matched giving” program, where they will match any charitable donations you make. Please check with your employer for the specific details, and double any donation you make at no cost to you.
Charles Wade Finance referral fee
Charles Wade Finance (CWF), is an independent financial-advisory firm based in Waterloo, with an excellent reputation (featuring in The Times Top Rated Adviser guide). If you need a mortgage for a new property or need to re-mortgage, please speak to Charlie Wade (charlie@cwf.uk.com / 07958 997001) and quote La Fontaine (Make sure you quote the school, otherwise no referral will get paid). Not only will you benefit from his expert advice at no cost to yourself, but if you decide to arrange your mortgage through CWF, you will earn the school a referral fee. Spread the word, anyone you tell who quotes La Fontaine when they complete on a mortgage through CWF will be helping the school!
